It's that time of year! I have to choose an end date for orders for Christmas. This year, the post is a little slower than usual and we have some supply issues in the embroidery world. With that in mind I have decided that my last order date will be the 15th of November.
Coronavirus Update - 26 October 2020
I am still using Hermes to deliver most UK parcels, rather than making trips to the Post Office. The courier can make a no-contact delivery to your door and so far it is working very well. For overseas parcels I am still going to the Post Office (as infrequently as possible).
I am now teaching online! I did my first class in July and I've been teaching every weekend since mid September. Things are booking up really quickly, so if you want to get in some tuition for yourself or a group, I recommend you contact me as soon as you can. I am currently scheduling for Spring.
I have been so busy with teaching and orders that I haven't had time to stitch the past month or so, which means I'm going to have to schedule in more time for stitching. It's a delicate balance! I still have a pile of designs to work through, and I'm excited to stitch them.
I am trying to restock kits as fast as possible, but again, this is impacted by the huge volume of other work going on. If there is something you particularly want to buy and it isn't in stock, please drop me a message - I'm happy to bump things up my to do list if I can. Next on my list right now is the Tulip in silk shading and goldwork.
I want to take this opportunity to thank you again for your continued support. It means the world to me, and I am so glad to be giving people the chance to learn and create something beautiful in a world facing a lot of ugliness. If you are in the UK, you may be aware that the help from the government has now run dry, so we small businesses are on our own. Every class you book and every purchase you make, however small, is so needed and appreciated. Now more than ever. Thank you.
Stay safe and well,
